  🤣🤣i was in the army with a boy that was Indian, from India, one weekend we were off and he said, you want to come to my house for the weekend, i said sure,, his mama cooked all authentic food, he had to translate for me, great food sug, but by monday when we got back, i couldn't put my uniform on as i had a steady 2 foot flame coming outta my butt, when she brought out the home made bread, it was grey, i thought, i wonder why, yeah i like hot stuff, but i gotta tell ya sug, that was the hottest bread i ever ate, i was 19, first time for Indian food, and yes Makhni, now i can't go into the Indian restaurants around here as it's Americanized Indian food and tastes like crap, like Thai, Japanese, Cambodian etc, restaurants, hard to find authentic here sug, i reckon you get spoiled when you been eating food like that in those countries, when you come home, you search far and wide for authentic, and they usually little small out of the way places here, just like where they came from, but we have an authentic Vietnamese restaurant near here, the old lady don't speak English, but she can bring that jungle food to the table i'll tell you that, and always busy as there a lot of vets here from that war,,

  My ex tried nicely and got a friend to make me some chicken once. Told me not to make dinner and bought it round... and oh my lord it was so Flaming hot there was just no way. Can't handle dried chilli powder !! We are lucky here in Melbourne though many international foods avail and most fairly authentic if you know the foodie areas.   fire in the hole came from the old ships with cannons, once loaded, there was a hole neat the very back of the cannon on top, and wen the man said "fire in the hole" it meant to set off the powder in that hole, which would then fire the cannon,,, or yes, my indian meal story lolEdited 02-Dec-24 16:43pm

	Good evening fellow hard working Rewardian's.. Wondered if anyone had a favourite saying or even a wee poem they like or use sometimes.. Sorry if this has been done before. My hubby can't speak coz of stroke but when lying down he can get out a vaguely clear "Woteva!" haha. Maybe mine is "I need chocolate".
