This is hard,Iove all genres. Depends on my mood and what I am doing. I have favourite artists and bands,new and old. I listen to 50/ 60"s/70's anything from rock,blues,contemporary, chart toppers as that's what my parents played all day at home. I grew up in 70's/80's and spent alit of money on records from here and abroad* Australia only played mainstream on radio and I lived finding o s of all genres from punk,metal,hard rock as well as contemporary artists. I also spent alit of time at live venues. After that I had my kids and try to keep up with new music,found alternate rock,Indie and modern country, new contemporary bands and live hearing mash ups,covers in different styles. Like some R'nB, house music mixes from specific d.js. Love how artists will now make music together and experiment more. As I said it depends in my mood,some are uplifting,others because they strike an emotional chord,but all because I feel something in the music . That and I like to dance,excersize,keep moving. But love it and always will. .

I have been trying to wipe any negative thoughts about modern music away - trying to listen to Top 100 hits on Triple J. I really am struggling with it. I can tolerate modern heavy rock but it is rarely heard of the radio. Anything from the naughties backward to the 20s and a sprinkling of carribean thrown in would be my choice.

I am pretty open to most kinds of music. However, class rock from the 1970s is my favorite. From my teen years and going to rock concerts, Brings back some good memories.

As a musician I have to say I like nearly all music

I Adrian, I love all different styles of music. It generally depends on my mood as to what I like to listen to. Every Sunday morning, I have classical Sunday. I'm not sure how it started but it's been quite a few years now. I love singing along to songs I know and listening to Jazz bands at a pub, especially on a lovely Sunday afternoon. When I hear a song from way back when, it definitely sparks the exact memory of what I was doing at that time. I love it when that happens. What do you like and why?
