Life's little pleasures

A simple pleasure is anything that brings you a sense of joy, no matter how ordinary. It can be absolutely anything the beauty of taking the long walk home to enjoy the sights, or brewing your favourite coffee. What's wonderful about life's simple pleasures is that they are everywhere around us. What would be yours?

                                                            I like going out in the bush overnight with my swag and backpack. Cook a thick T-bone on an open fire with coals to bring out an amazing smoky taste. Explore during the day and watch the camp fire at night. Not a sound except for the crackling of the fire. Miles from anywhere or anything. I have some survival equipment that can turn muddy water into the most cleanest drinking water. I'm starting to get good at trapping and foraging for bush food as well. Look out Bear Grylls/lol.

The birds, the sunrise and sunsets, the friends and family to have coffee with, the books I've still to read, the music I still listen to, all of these are my little joys and so glad I have someone to care for and to protect me and know they'll be there to meet me when I come home.

                                                                                                        Being able to enjoy the vibrant beauty of a sunrise or sunset, sitting on the porch and watching the New Holland honeyeaters feeding from the bottlebrush or a magpie coaxing her young to try its wings while it sits huddled on the power line protesting that it's scared. or even listening to the kookaburras crack jokes with each other - these are some of life's simple pleasures.

The most I would consider doing to help them is drink a gallon of Turpentine and then proceed to urinate on them.

But better still as the Liberals want Nuclear in Au how about turning them into the Prototypes by stuffing 4 or 5 44 Gallon Drums of Yellow Cake into them and then attaching 11 KVA wires to their Nipple Nuts before mounting them on top of power poles and connecting them directly to the 11 KV lines to supply power to the local area? If they fail to work all we need do is throw them into some lead coffins and dump them in the deepest part of the ocean with enough weight to be sure that they will hit the bottom and stay there. We have plenty of Politicians wanting Small Modular Reactors which don't exist a tthe moment so we could use them till we run out of Politicians who want Nuclear and do not believe them when they so no we did not mean it because you know when a politician is telling lies as you can see their lips move. What better way to Prototype a SMR and not cost the earth to do it use existing useless consumers of air and contamination of the Gene Pool for something useful instead of allowing them to bleed us dry with all their "EXPENCES." I hope you now have the idea I really dislike Politicians and not just from one party but them all not a single one is as useful as Teats on a BUll. As for the line "Politicians are human beings first who have families who love them." that is debatable the best that can be said is they are a rejected by evolution Subspecies of Homesapiens who have no business poluting the Gene Pool any longer.

                                                                                                                                              I love the sun. I always say if the sun's out l'm happy. So when I get up( usually sunrise but lately it's been dark I walk outside and watch the sun come up,listen to the birds,take a few deep breaths and feel wonderful. Oh I also love fresh sheets on my bed. The smell of freshly washed sheets the feel of them when I get into bed,soft and comfortable,makes me smile.
