Car parks for 4WDs
Peter C 649111Apr 28, 24
They are so big and car parks are designed for cars not 4WDs that are virtually as big as a truck. Look at the Ram or the LandCruiser

They should be designated Parks for large of vehicles. Standard car parks for standard cars and sizes. In other words if you have a large of vehicle that is parked in a standard car park with the designated size then you should be subject to fine otherwise your vehicle should only be parked in the designated vehicle parking.

They are not thinking of updating car parks fast enough to accommodate the larger heavier vehicles. A collapsed car park event is just around the corner to happen. Hopefully not!

It seems strange that the one at the end is parked out so far. Its rear door is standard and what would normally be boot are not that long.(it is about average compared the cars like Holden, Ford and Mitsubishi. A Nissan -Xtrail is a 4WD and the 2021 body is smaller than they used to be with no extra boot/cargo space.

Horrible so called cars to have in cities. The carpark lanes are narrow, the parking bays are small so yes they stick out a mile. Not only that one cannot see through them to see if any cars are coming so you have to back out bit by bit and hope people driving on the lanes see you and honk a warning to let you know they are there. A lot of the drivers are aggressive and speed on the roads also. Around schools they are a nightmare. And to top all this off this generation of drivers are the ones screaming climate change. I bet they have a phone and probably blue tooth, screens in the back seats as well as the front and of course their bottles of water etc. and they are usually petrol run. The influx in Australia has been of plague proportions.
